The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act that went into effect 1/1/10 now requires insurance companies to offer the same level of coverage for treating mental-health issues (such as depression, addictions, alcoholism, eating disorders, substance-abuse, domestic counseling, and other health problems) as they do for any other physical illness. If you or your partner are dealing with any of these issues, we can help. Couples are often referred to Western Spirit by their marriage counselor or therapist.
